Some SCPs may appear throughout the entire facility, however.

New SCPs and artifacts may appear in one map, but not in another. One of the game's primary features is randomly generated rooms. Another one of these SCPs is SCP-096, which will kill the player if its face is viewed, but otherwise will remain docile. Certain environments (such as rooms filled with decontamination gas) will cause the player to blink more often. The player is pursued by numerous hostile SCPs, which must be evaded by D-9341 to avoid death, which is made more difficult by the player needing to blink periodically, enabling SCP-173 to attack if it is nearby. It may be possible to make a replica of the items in your inventory. The player controls a "Class-D" personnel as he attempts to escape an underground research and containment facility operated by the SCP Foundation amidst a total containment breach of its hazardous anomalies, designated "SCP"s.SCP-038 is added with the Modifications Project: Resurrection and Box of Horrors. In game, when entering the chamber of SCP-038 and touching SCP-038, it will "Grow" a replica of D-9341, the clone of the player appears to be dead. After thorough examination of the deceased clones, it has been determined that they had begun to ferment before death. The majority of these clones live, on average, two (2) weeks. Human and animal cloning through SCP-038 is not recommended, as they appear to age quickly. Objects that SCP-038 has thus far cloned include: apples, oranges, watermelons, eggplants, candy bars, snack foods (See Addendum #1), televisions, toasters, laptops, keys (See Addendum #2), chairs, wine, DVDs, CDs (See Addendum #3), cats, dogs, and people. A weight limit of 90.9 kg (200 lb) per object has been previously recorded. Objects begin growing almost instantaneously and reach maturity within a matter of minutes. SCP-038 has the ability to clone any object that touches its bark. However, upon closer inspection, it became apparent that SCP-038 was growing things other than apples and, in fact, other than fruit.

It was at first thought to be a common apple tree.
